Welcome

The Family Abuse Shelter of Miami County, Inc. provides emergency shelter assistance for any woman or man, with or without children, who lack a safe, stable place to live.

We offer immediate safe shelter for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, elder abuse, human trafficking, and homeless individuals and families.

All persons served by the Family Abuse Shelter are provided with case management and advocacy services that are designed to identify their unique needs and to link them to other community resources available to help. The overall goal of the Family Abuse Shelter program is to help individuals and families who are in need of safe shelter and support with the services they need to begin healing and to overcome any barriers they face towards increasing their safety and self-sufficiency.
